La Entrada School

Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!

 

La Entrada has a Grade 6-8 1:1 Chromebook Program.  Students will be assigned Chromebooks for their exclusive use the entire school year.  Students are welcome to take the devices home with them to do homework, or they can leave them overnight at designated check-in locations at school if they don't need to use them after school.  Students will be responsible for having their Chromebook fully charged each school day. 

Students/Parents are responsible for the care and security of their assigned Chromebook.  If the device is damaged or malfunctions, families must take the device to the school's main office within 72 business hours for evaluation. If the device is lost or stolen, the family must contact the school's main office within 72 business hours.

All Students and their Parents will be required to read and sign an Acceptable Use Agreement (AUA).  The AUA outlines expectations and responsibilities, and outlines the OPTIONAL (highly recommended, but not required) Chromebook Insurance Program.  Please complete the Acknowledgement of Responsibilities form within the AUA (last page) - either online or have your student return the paper copy of it to their Core Teacher as soon as possible so your student can receive their assigned Chromebook without delay.
